Walking with Dignity

Coming soon!

Cecilia's Closet and Food Pantry

Cecilia’s Closet is for emergency room patients who don’t have clothing. We’ve worked with homeless patients who had clothes cut off, as well as a mom who gave birth and didn’t have a robe. We help patients who don't have clothing to leave the hospital, so they leave with dignity in addition to good health care.

No Child Goes Unfed

No Child Goes Unfed and Walking with Dignity will now be part of Cecelia’s Closet & Food Pantry

Other Programs

Christmas Toy Drive

Each year, we collect and buy brand new toys for ten elementary schools in Morgan Hill, including the charter school. The principals pick up the toys and distribute them to selected families.

Morgan Hill Police Hope Program

We fill up backpacks with food, hygiene items, and survival items like flashlights, hand warmers, scarfs, socks, etc. We support the migrant farm laborers in surrounding areas as far away as Watsonville with clothing.

Heart to Heart Dinners

On Sunday, challenged families can drive through and pick up a hot meal, including salad, bread, and drinks for the whole family. (COVID-19)

“For the Children” / Para Los Niños

Twice a week, families at Cecilia’s Closet can use free internet on their Chromebooks and receive tutoring and lunch. Latter-day Saints, including MH Gilroy Hollister, are the tutors. The kids are learning, and so are their parents! COVID-19 protocol is practiced, including a limit of one family per table and tables spaced six feet apart.

Oktoberfest

Each year, we take old inventory out and bring it to the public so they can enjoy free, gently used clothing for the colder seasons.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Every Thanksgiving, we provide turkeys for South County families! Last year, we even included mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and veggies.

COVID-19 Gate to Gate Food Giveaway

In 2020, we provided drive-through groceries for those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
